Hey guys, replacing the 5 1/4 factory "sub" and wanted to know if anyone knows what the factory amp is throwing at this driver wattage wise. also what the min. impeadance of the amp is. I have a 4ohm driver....is it safe to give this load to the amp?

does the jeep have the 'infinity' system? i would say infinity on the radio or the speaker grill, if so, im pretty sure its a 2 ohm woofer, because all the speakers in the factory infinity setup are 2 ohms, im not sure on the wattage but normally for factory stuff even subs it isn't very much, most of the time no where near enough power for an aftermarket sub, especially if your going up to 4 ohms
