Hay guys need some help here,i got a 92 cherokee sport,2WD auto. Now im rebulding the topend due to excessive wear on the rockerarms,so i got all new factory parts(pushrods, valves, springs, locks, and rockerarms and components). Now when i went to dodge and thay sayed that it uses cylindrical not conical springs so thats what i got.Now to the problem,i ran out of cash so i went to the local pull-a-part and found me a nice 92 cherokee with a 4.0. So i pull the spring retainers and notice the springs are conical and the retainers will not work due to size difference in both spring width and high,so my question is do i have the wrong springs, will using the cylindrical springs and geting matching retainers work. Can someone out there shed some light on this ? Thanks guys
