I have a 2001 TJ that I need to change all the fluids for - the manual does not give capacities just type recommendations.

I found everything I needed at http://www.getahelmet.com/jeeps/maint/fluids/ except for the automatic transmission. (excellent site by the way)

He does have specs for the 545RFE Automatic Transmission but I'm not sure if the fluid caps. are the same - 6.55 Quarts listed.
Is that about right?

Thanks
Jeff

From the factory service manual, it should be 4.0 quarts for a service fill.

Should be the same, the larger quantity is if you're rebuilding and to account for the torque converter and cooler.
