We are looking to get a head count of who is going. We have 3 camp spots reserved, we need to make sure there is enough room for everyone or if we need to get more room.
Post up you and going and I'll PM you the camp ground info. _________________ Some people are like slinkeys, they’re not of much use but they will still bring a smile to your face if someone pushes them down the stairs.

Columbus day weekend....October 5 - 8. It's a 5 1/2 hour drive.
So far I know it's us, Mark & MJ, David and Donna, Jericho as well as Susan & family. Based on the size of Chateau de Gilmore and the Leslie Manor...we've prolly got three campsites filled already. _________________

I'll be going. As soon as my parts come in.
Yankee however will probably no longer be joining me on the trails. He has become officially a gimp. A simple trot on a gravel road can make him lame for the day.

Poor thing. Sorry to hear that...
If (and that's a BIG if) I can get my axles built and installed in time, I'll ask Sandy if we can join in. Otherwise we'll have to bow out. _________________

Make sure you get a field test in too...the last thing you want to do is take untested axles 6 hours from home. _________________

what do we want to do about food?
Last time we split each night between a couple of people and those couple of people was responsible for feeding everyone.
Do we want to do that again, or have everyone fend for themselves?
Oh, Steve and I will have a small portable gas grill. That way if we try and do kabobs or anything eles, they won’t take forever! _________________ Some people are like slinkeys, they’re not of much use but they will still bring a smile to your face if someone pushes them down the stairs.

I think that worked pretty well last time. My vote is to do the same thing. I'm guessing that Davids night will consist of Rum & Cokes for dinner.
Oh yea...my other vote is that Lori wheels the Honda this time. _________________

What is the Leslie Manor? Those camp sites that Susan got are very large, do you really think that we'll need more than three? Susan and her family will use one, and we only used two last time. If you are worried about it get an extra now and cancel it later if we don't need it. As far as meals go, we would rather fend for ourselves. The Chateau de Gilmore can be used as a base for getting things cooked, visiting and staying out of the weather as always. We will be towing the Jeep along with our camping gear and will have plenty of room for fire wood if you think that we need to bring some. _________________ DEFINITION OF A VETERAN A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." |
