Multiple Use Advocacy Web Site Launched
Lakeside, CA (June 12, 2006): The United Four Wheel Drive
Associations (UFWDA) announced the launching of a new web site
oriented towards assisting land use advocates locate and research
information. The web site, maintained by UFWDA Director of
Environmental Affairs John Stewart, can be found at:
http://www.muirnet.net
Stewart stated, " The web site is a work in progress and will be
built out with reports and information about all aspects of land use
and access issues. The site will not be for "action alerts". It
will be for background information on issues."
Stewart noted that the web site name is derived from Multiple Use
Information Resource Network (MUIRNet). The materials presented are
documents culled from other web sites and issued reports. Some of
the documents are no longer available at their original web site.
