Brake Lines For Lifted Jeeps
Russell has new pre-assembled,
direct bolt-on, 50-state street-legal
stainless steel brake lines for stock and lifted Jeeps.
The
new
longer brake lines feature PowerFlex stainless steel braided
hose with zinc-plated fittings, factory-assembled for an easy
installation on Jeeps. The new brake lines are available for 1977-81
Jeep CJ5/CJ7 Stock Height to 1" Lift, 1982-86 Jeep CJ5, CJ7, CJ8 Stock
Height to 1" Lift and 1997-04 Wrangler (TJ) with 4" to 6" lift.
The
added
length improves safety by preventing stretching of lines,
which could lead to premature brake hose failure. Braided stainless
Teflon brake hoses reduce expansion common in factory rubber lines.
Hose expansion can lead to increased brake pedal travel and reduced
brake performance.
Every
Russell brake line kit comes with all necessary mounting brackets
and hardware. Russell brake lines meet the strict guidelines of the
U.S. Department of Transportation MVSS-106 requirements.
